Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin

Extension of International Cooperation

areas of cooperation among Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P. Shamyakin (Mozyr, Belarus) and Jiangsu Pedagogical University (Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, C Peoples Republic) were discussed.

 

Valentin Valetov, Rector of MSPU, pointed out great importance of the meeting for both parties. Mozyr State Pedagogical University and Jiangsu Pedagogical University fulfill a vital state function of training professionals in the sphere of education. Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P. Shamyakin is known as an outstanding educational center in the Belarusian Polessye. The main direction of the University is continuing education in the following directions: Pre-University Tutorial, Specialization Training, Graduate Courses, Postgraduate Studies, Re- training Courses. Residents from far-abroad and near-abroad countries may also enter MSPU.

 

Cao Xinping , Party Committee Secretary of CPC, Chief Delegate, Xuzhou, told about the rich history of Xuzhou and the principal directions of Jiangsu Pedagogical University. Mr. Xinping placed emphasis on goodwill, geniality, hospitality of the Belarusians, the beauty of Mozyr and vast training experience of MSPU.

 

Jiangsu Pedagogical University has wide experience in international activity, foreign students training and international educational projects execution.

Advanced experience was the subject to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P. Shamyakin and Jiangsu Pedagogical University by the Chief Delegates of two parties.

We congratulate Oleg Yurenya (The Undergraduate of Physical Training Department at Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P. Shamyakin, The Master of Sport of International Class in Rowing and Canoeing, The Participant of the Games of the XXX Olympiad in London, The Champion of the World and Europe, The Frequent Winner of the European Rowing and Canoeing Championships and the World Rowing and Canoeing Cups, The Winner of the XXVII Summer Universiade (Kazan, 2013)) on awarding a scholarship of the International University Sports Federation (FISU).

Oleg Yurenya is the first incumbent of such a scholarship in the Republic of Belarus. Soronzolbold Batsetseg (freestyle wrestling), Mongolia, The Asian University Sports Federation, and Idaliz Optiz Bokort (judo), Cuba, The Pan-American University Sports Federation, also won the FISU scholarship.

The FISU Scholarship Program was established to support and encourage young sportsmen-students. The scholarship is awarded to 2 girls and 1 boy. The selection is made of challengers from around the world who are supposed to be excellent sportsmen and brilliant students.

The Integration into the Innovative Belarus Kazakhstan Consortium

On the 5th December, 2013 the working committee met in special session at the premises of Belarusian State Technological University . The basic concern was the coordination of the Academic Consortium in the area of Higher Educational Establishments and Scientific Research Institutes in the territory of Belarus and Kazakhstan . Several leading universities and research institutes have been included into the Belarus Kazakhstan Consortium. The consortium activity is aimed to work out cooperative educational projects, fundamental and applicative research programs, organization of academic mobility of students and faculty members.

The integration of the Educational Institution Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P. Shamyakin into the consortium was the item on the agenda. Chechko T.N., the head of the International Relations and Innovative Activities Department, reported on traditions and achievements of the university to the members of the working committee. Prof. Panteleenko F.I. , the chairman of the working committee in the consortium coordination, a corresponding-member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, pointed up to good professional practice of MSPU in teachers training, scientific capability and great sports achievements of students and undergraduates.

 On the 5th December, 2013 the working committee decreed to integrate Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P. Shamyakin into the Innovative Academic Research Consortium of Higher Educational Establishments and Scientific-Research Institutes of Belarus and Kazakhstan .

The second official visit of Japanese delegation to the EI MSPU named after I. P. Shamiakin

The 2nd official visit of Japanese delegation to the EI MSPU named after I.  P. Shamiakin took place on the 4th of October, 2013. The meeting of the professors of the Pedagogical Faculty of Saitama University with the administrative authority, research workers and students of the EI MSPU named after I. P. Shamiakin was held at the Faculty of Biology.

Areas of possible cooperation in the spheres of teaching process organization at the Faculty of Biology and in pedagogical universities in general were discussed in the course of a round-table conference.

Advanced experience of the Republic of Belarus (and of Mozyr Pedagogical University in particular) in training future pedagogues in the sphere of information activity on radiation safety attracted the particular interest of the Japanese delegation.

     

The second official visit of Japanese delegation to the EI MSPU named after I. P. Shamiakin

Gala concert dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Turkmenistan took place on the 28th of October. The students of the EI MSPU named after I. P. Shamyakin, the citizens of the Republic of Turkmen, honorably represented the culture of their country. The master of the ceremony acquainted visitors with the national symbols. It was noted that green color is of particular importance for the Turkmen. This is the color of the grass in the pastures and of the peace on the earth. It embodies the unity of time and symbolizes life. The students, the lectures and the staff of the University saw Turkmenistan in a new light: as a country of contrasts. After all, modern Turkmenistan is the abundance of deserts, oases, unique historical and cultural traditions and European metropolitan cities.

 

Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, is a modern European metropolis. In Persian Ashgabat means the city of love". It is a lovely oasis, created by people among sands and mountains with love and care.

Fashion show of women's national costumes, songs, performed in Turkmen language and incendiary lezghinka made a particularly vivid impression on the visitors.

Song "White Russia", performed by Myronovych Julia and Nyyazovoy Enesh, became a final chord of the concert.
